CPR for GP's

All GPs on the NIPMPL are expected to attend a CPR update every 15 months by an accredited body.

Due to Covid19, face to face CPR training sessions (which remain the “gold standard” for training) have been more difficult to access.

As a result of this it has been agreed that until 31st March 2023

1. Where possible GPs continue to seek face to face training where available

2. If no face to face training is possible, the following online resources should be used.

Resuscitation Adults – Level 2

This session covers the statutory and mandatory training for Resuscitation Adult Level 2. It has been designed to meet the learning outcomes in the UK Core Skills Training Framework.

Users can choose to view the knowledge chapters and then will need to complete and pass the eAssessment to demonstrate the required knowledge and understanding and to complete the course. A user’s training record will be updated with their eAssessment score.

If users feel that they have the necessary knowledge, they can skip straight to the eAssessment without completing the knowledge chapters first.
